Using excel file from different computer - buttons are mapped to original computers C driv

Hello all, I have an obnoxious issue:

I made an excel file and put it on a network location accessible by multiple computers. The file pulls data from a database and has a number of buttons assigned to macros.

The problem is, when I try to use the file from a different computer and click a button, it says the location can't be found, and gives the address to the C drive on the original computer. I tried to rename the macros assigned from the address/sub to just the sub in the vba - but that didn't work.

Also, when I go to the VBA I can still run the macros from there.

    How do I fix this?
