Activate a row which has the highest value.

Let say i have the below.
A
1 1999
2 2000
3 2001


I want to activate row3 as compare to row 2 n 1 it has the largest value..
How to i do it ?

what do you mean by "activate"?

That means to select row 3 so that i can display the result from 2001 in another cell .. hope it is clearer

1 1999. B+
2 2000
3 2001. A*

No I’m not it is a spreadsheet with many of such comparions for example student A result from 1999 to 2001 or student b results from 2003 to 2005... i will like to use vba to solve it
