    VBA: Exchange rate currency conversion in same cell

    Am i able to enter a value in a cell in say GBP, and the value be automtically coverted to USD using an exchange rate held in another cell??

    In the cell in which you type it? Not without VBA. In another cell? Yes, easily, using a lookup formula. Which do you want?

    I basically need to create a spreasheet that converts value from GBP to USD. As im not the only person using it, I was hoping the values could be typed and converted in the same cell to avoid complication

    That will need VBA - are you able to use macro-enabled workbooks on your network?
