    Copy worksheets

    Hi Gurus,

is there a possible to copy a worksheet 30 times in the same file. However, when copying the sheet, it would like to name them as 2,4,6,8 and so on and I'd want the paste special function in the copied workbook data for example.

    Copied Row A1, D1 from Sheet 2 to 4
    Copied Row A1, D1 from Sheet 4 to 6
    Copied row A1, D1 from Sheet 6 to 8

    so on.

Please can you help me with this.

Thank you so much for your continued help.

    Re: Copy worksheets

Do you mean copy column A and column D? Do all the sheets already exist or do they have to be created? Where on the destination sheets do you want to paste the data?
You can say "THANK YOU" for help received by clicking the Star symbol at the bottom left of the helper's post.

    Re: Copy worksheets

    Hi Mumps1,

    Thank you for your response.

I meant copy I15:Q15 and pastespecial in anothersheet in E4:Q4 and copy E28:Q28 and paste E17:Q18 in another sheet.
    - No Sheets not existed currently - will need creating

The copy paste function should be from the previous sheet for example, copy above rows from "2" and paste in "4" - then whatever in "4" paste special in "6" etc.

I hope I'm making sense. It's a cash register so this is opening and closing balance daily. So Closing balance for today will become opening balance next day.

    thanks,

    Re: Copy worksheets

It would be easier to help and test possible solutions if you could attach a copy of your file. Explain in detail what you want to do referring to specific cells, rows, columns and sheets using a few examples from your data (de-sensitized if necessary).

    Re: Copy worksheets

I have a few questions for clarification:

    - In your question you mentioned ranges I15:Q15 and E28:Q28 but in your file, you highlighted the ranges I12:Q12 and E25:Q25
    - You also said
    copy above rows from "2"
which I assume you mean "Sheet2". However in your file, the sheet to copy from is "Sheet1".

Please clarify and attach a revised file if necessary.

    Re: Copy worksheets

    HI Mumps,

That's correct - the highlighted area in the sheet is what I would like to do. The sheet name is "1".

    Many thanks for your help.

    Re: Copy worksheets

So the sheets to be added will be named "3", "5", "7", "9", etc. Is that correct? What will the last sheet to be created be named?

    Re: Copy worksheets

    Another question:

Range("I12:O12") is copied from Sheet("1") to Range("I4:O4") of Sheet("3") and Range(""C25:O25"") is copied from Sheet("1") to Range("C17:O17") of Sheet("3"). Do you then want to copy Range("I4:O4") from Sheet("3") to Range("I4:O4") of Sheet("5") and Range("C17:O17") of Sheet("3") to Range("C17:O17") of Sheet("5")?

    Re: Copy worksheets

    Hi Mumps

Thank you for your prompt response

It's created new sheets, copied the range but the actual sheet with format isn't there. All it's done to created a blank sheet and copied those range, but it meant to be copied duplicating sheet 1 and copied those ranges.

    Thank you once again bro.

    Re: Copy worksheets

Do you want to replicate Sheet1 30 times? If so, the ranges will be copied as part of the duplicated sheet. There would be no need to copy the ranges separately. Please clarify.

    Re: Copy worksheets

Yes please mate - I want to replicate sheet 1 30 times but every day the values will be changed in those ranges, therefore I'd want to do paste special with those ranges in every sheet to copy over the closing values.
