    Open PDF without Saving

    Hello,

I need to print a Worsheet as PDF and open it without saving it into a folder.
I'm using the code below but it saves the file in the folder.
I would like to publish the PDF without saving it.
    Is that possible?

    Thanks!

    Hello BrianAll,

With the tools VBA has for creating PDF files, you cannot. However, you can delete the newly created file once you are done with it.
    Sincerely,

    Re: Open PDF without Saving

    Thanks.
I "found" this workaround: if the path of the folder is too long, the file is shown but not saved.
    i.e. "C:\Test_Folder_0\Test_Folder_1\Test_Folder_2\9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999_Test_PDF"

    Seems weird, could this be?

    Thanks

    Re: Open PDF without Saving

    Your question is strange

If it is not saved what is the point of publishing it?

Where are you publishing to if you are not saving? There is the option to email the workbook as an attachment as a pdf file.

What do you want to achieve ?

    Re: Open PDF without Saving

    Hi davsth,
I just want it to pop up on the user's screen. The user can then decide to print it on paper or discard it.
In the meanwhile I'm saving the worksheet in a specific folder as xlsx.
    Thanks!

So why not just go for print preview?
