Remember the Position and Size of Certain Workbooks

I'm trying to get Excel to remember the position and size of certain workbooks. I found these two macros that were created for this but I keep getting the following error:

Run-time error 1004: Unable to set the Top property of the Window class

I'm assuming it has something to do with the "named references" from the instructions, which I'm not familiar with. Is named references the same as name ranges because when I search it on the net, it comes back as name ranges, which I still don't understand how that would play into getting this to work?

The basic instructions are this:

"A better approach may be to store the positioning locations in the workbook itself, in named references. That's the approach taken in the following macros:"
