I created a forecasting document.
It has 8 source files that index/match to 5 files that pull information from another 8 source files, which then consolidate into 5 more files which then are connected to the main report.
If an update is made in anypart of the "ladder" ALL files ahead of it must be opened for the report to update.
Is this a CODE or a possible linking strategy I can use in the main report to re-open or get excel to lookup/open ALL 15-20 workbooks to ensure data is UPDATED and will ALL changes.
A good 5 - 8 ppl use the files so changes can happen at any time and I'm starting to send in incorrect data since I dont have time to open all workbooks every second.
