Run macro on opening of any excel file

I need to have a macro that runs everytime any workbook is opened. I tried searching around, but couldn't find anything that accomplished this without adding something to each specific workbook.

How can we use it to run a program that is on a module that is shared with several people

Another question related to this. The macro works perfectly on all Windows machines, but a few of my colleagues have Mac and we tried entering this code into their personal workbook in the same fashion and no luck - doesn't seem to activate when we open the same exact file. Any ideas?
