Macro to loop through one column of dates and if date's already passed check other column

So I have two date columns, I need help with a macro that can go into the first column (AK) and check for the dates, for each date that it finds that has already passed (smaller than today) it must go into the second column and check if the corresponding cell is empty (this will be on column AM). If the second column is empty I'd like for it to send an email with outlook to a person (email address is setup on column L) warning them to please check the why hasn't it been filled yet. If the corresponding cell on the second column (AM) is not empty, it can move on to the next. Lastly, if the date on column AK is bigger than today it can move to the cell below and if empty, the loop should stop.

    Please help!

I had managed to find a macro here to check through the first column and warn me when the date is smaller than today:

    Administrative Note:

    Welcome to the forum.

We would very much like to help you with your query, however you need to include code tags around your code.

Please take a moment to add the tags. Posting code between tags makes your code much easier to read and copy for testing, and it also maintains VBA formatting.

Please see Forum Rule #2 about code tags and adjust accordingly. Click on Edit to open your post, then highlight your code and click the # icon at the top of your post window. More information about these and other tags can be found here

I did it for you this time. Please read forum rules. Thanks
