Macro Shortcut keys

Hi

First time posting and I'm a novice when it comes to Macros, I'm currently in the middle of an excel advanced course and the only thing I'm currently struggling with it Macros!

When running a macro I'm adding a shortcut key just for basic formatting and it isn't working, eg. the shortcut key is :ctrl f and as said its just a basic format of a title, when I try to use the format on another part of the excel spreadsheet it either does nothing and just jumps to the original heading or it copies the heading but not with all the formatting applied.

Hope this makes sense and hope someone can help as I've now spent two days trying to work this out!

Isn't Ctrl F a standard keyboard shortcut for "Find" or "Search" ?? Would that be the issue?

Guys, thanks I've actually managed it, just not sure how! but this time its worked. No doubt I'll be back with more questions before lockdown is over!
