Method FIND, to find a DATE in a hidden range

    Hi

I discovered the following code on the net to find a certain date in a certain range:

Bearing in mind that the native format of my excel is "dd / mm / yyyy", that is, European system, what is wrong with the code so as not to detect where the date is looking for?
The dates in the range are calculated and not entered manually, and are on line 10 and are hidden.

What I need is to find a certain date, in this case 01/04/2020, by the Find method, in a hidden line. It's possible? What's the code?

    Thank you for your help

Question Re: Method FIND, to find a DATE in a hidden range

    Hi !

Just try first manually the Excel Search feature with the row not hidden : does it work ?
As if it does not work with the row visible, you can't be surprised when it still does not work when hidden !

Find can be a little quirky when looking for dates. I have found sometimes that I have to look for the date as formatted rather than look for the underlying value. This is an educated guess, but try this. I assume you do not really have spaces around the slashes.

Yes it works, but, there is always a but, you have to rotate the dates in the Range ("P10: BW10")!
In other words, it does not work with the visible row and the date, rotated 90 degrees.

When I hide the row it stops working.

    Thanks

    Thanks Jindon

I know that with the Match method it was possible, I was wondering if it is possible with the Find method. Your code work perfect.

What it looks like, is that the Find method does not work on hidden rows, and with certain formatting.

    Thanks again
