Modification required in VBA PDF to excel conversion-

The attached excel file converts PDF file to excel. But i need some modification with it, At address A2 path of PDF file is entered and at B2 type is selected like .xlsx. When convert button is pressed it converts PDF to excel at same location.
Now what i want with this code to be modified is that:
    1) It should ask from user to select PDF file(by using application.open method) and by default it should convert to xlsx format.
    2) Sheet should be named as "Farmer History" to which data is copied
    3) Headings to be ignored during copy

Due to some error, i am unable to post VBA CODE here, Kindly check the attached Convert PDF Files Into Different Format.xlsm excel file

I have asked this question here too:https://www.mrexcel.com/board/thread...rsion.1130694/

Yep - that bit of advice seems to have fallen on deaf ears!

Zahid - what you are asking is NOT just a quick tweak of the code - it's an entire new set of functionality and, I suspect, will require a substantial amount of time to resolve, especially as you have a tendency to keep shifting the goalposts. You need to seriously consider whether it is really fair to ask someone to do all of this for you completely for free.

Don't be surprised if you don't get any offers of help this time.

Re: Modification required in VBA PDF to excel conversion-

There is nothing wrong with me, Zahid, nor am I being impolite. My intentions are entirely good and considerate. Yes, people are helping you, but that's not my point. There is nothing harsh in what I said: I am merely asking you to consider whether what you are asking of people here is excessive.

The idea of a help forum is that you work with your helpers towards a solution together: in your threads, you don't seem to do anything except keep asking for tweaks and changes to your requirements. That's not a collaboration: it's a brief.

To be very cleear, nobody is suggesting that you should leave. Only you have mentioned this - it's in your imagination only.

Re: Modification required in VBA PDF to excel conversion-

Look at your words in post number 5, they are very harsh and trust me you raised by blood pressure with it..that without reason you are commenting like this..If you have some suggestions you can suggest in a proper and polite way...i think you are breaking rules of the forum by hurting people...you must think before you speak...
AND this is not my imagination, but you told me that don,t be surprise next time if i dont get help...i wasnt expecting these words from you, trust me...Beside helping you are just criticizing which you shouldn't. Please don,t do this, don,t hurt people feelings. Here everyone is helping by their own, if someone is supporting and helping, what,s the problem with you? why you are making fuss without any reason...i think we are wasting time by commenting and clarifications like this, beside if we have knowledge, we should help others... thank you

You have completely misinterpreted what I said. Nothing was harsh. If you don't understand the point I am making, then there's not a lot I can do.

Enough now, Zahid. All I am doing is trying to advise you - if you wish to ignore that advice, then that's fine. I am closing this thread, as it is not required.
