    Hide columns with errors?

    This was also posted on
    https://www.mrexcel.com/board/thread...rrors.1130744/

    Good day.

I have been helped to continue if subscript out of range error appears which is working 100%

My next question is how do I now hide the culumn if it has a error on it?
So i am importing data, but the number of rows keep changing, I have done some coding on them but when they are not imported i get errors because they dont exist, that is
why i added "On Error Resume Next" , so my next logical step will be to hide all of them that has no data pulled in,
Cannot delete them as i have columns at end that sums to the right that include them, so i just need to hide the columns.

    Regards

Its ok sintak, I feel if you cannot answer with code provided you would not be able to help -Thanks for the effort. will wait for someone with vba knowledge. as its simmple - i calculate columns, when column has no data i get error, i ignor, but in sted of just ignoring the error i want to hide column with no data as well.

Really...That's the way you want to start a relationship on this Forum...

We are not mind readers...Your file setup could be anything...Your code means absolutely nothing!!!!
    Edit...
Also...Please do not edit previous posts after Members have posted...This just causes confusion...

Ali, fwiw, kapennars is the afrikaans version of cape tonians - ie someone from Cape Town. We would call someone from Pretoria a P'towner or vaalie. I grew up in Port Elizabeth, so I would have been called a baaienaar
I have no problem with your actions regarding the actual rude comments

Thanks, Ford - I had to rely on Mr Google, so the accuracy of the translation (or lack of it) does not surprise me. However, as you have agreed (and for the benefit of the OP and anyone else reading this), the INTENT of the comment was rude and derogatory, no doubt about it, hence the suspension.

    Re: Hide columns with errors?

    The full comment...
    Julle kapenaars weer stadig vandag?
translates to "you people from Cape Town are slow again today"

On it's own, it might be considered teasing/slightly sarcastic (like making a comment about someone from Brighton lol), but in this context, I agree it could be considered insulting.
