Macro to store formulas

Is it possible to write a sub that allows you to overwrite cells containing pre-existing formulas with both/and [1] new formulas [2] constants, but have the ability to click a user inserted form control button so that you can return to the pre-existing formulas if you desire? Basically, i would be toggling between [a] an existing cell formula [b] a cell formula i overwrite the existing cell formula with? Need to retain ability to revert back to the existing cell formula. Are there any good examples?

You certainly can build a macro to put a formula into any cell. You could also ask which formula you want in the cell. All this requires some VBA knowledge. But, without using VBA you could have two formula in different rows, next to each other and hide the row for the formula you don't want. This wouldn't require any VBA and might work better.. Hiding rows or columns is much easier than using VBA to put in those formulas.
