Hi All,
Got some good help here last time so I thought I'd ask another question.
I'm working up an Income Statement as below:
Office XLS.png
I've inserted arrows to hide/unhide the rows below it, essentially acting as a drop down button. The bold Header Accounts(Advertising/Bank Charges/Communications etc) have detail accounts(Marketing/Online Advertising etc) under them. Each detail account then has 3 offices under that. I've got the codes correct to hide them the way that i want, however the issue I have is it's gotten so large that if i need to add a row somewhere i need to re-code a whole lot of stuff under it.
I'm hoping to Define Name the rows and use that in the code below, rather than using row references. I'm not having any luck making it work, if you can please let me know how to hide/unhide Named Ranges rather than the Row Numbers, or if you have any other solutions I would greatly appreciate it.
