    REATIN Number formatted as text when copying Excel Table Row

    XL2016 64 bit

    I have an Excel table with a column of numbers formatted as text 000502 (the results of a SQL query)

    I am looping through the Table rows and splitting the data into multiple rows as required.

    Using
    Please Login or Register  to view this content.
    The new rows cell content is 502 as a number not 000502 as text.

    HOW CAN I RETAIN THE VALUE AS A TEXT ENTRY OF 000502


    Formatting the Table column does nothing.
    Using Text to Columns on the Table column does nothing.

    I don't want ALL the columns in the range to be numbers formatted as text, on the one that started out that way.
