Useonly left column of Selection

In a macro I have the following segment of code for my user to select a column to use to rename files. My problem is later, when I use the MyFiles value, I only want to use the values in the left column, which SHOULD be what the user selected, but they often choose both columns. How do I alter to only accept the left column?

I tried it, testing by selecting both columns, and it bombed. maybe it'll help if I post the whole macro as it exists now.
