    Command Button Shrunk

    Hello all,

A few years ago someone on here very helpfully setup what I think is called a Command Button and the coding to go with it, on a spreadsheet for me.

I'm not too up on the Excel coding and terminology so forgive me, but I effectively needed what I thought was a Macro to run some commands at the click of a button - although I don't think it was actually setup as a Macro, as it doesn't show in my Macro list, but does show in Developer VBA. There was a handy button for me to click on the s/sheet to run this Command, but a few weeks back it randomly shrunk ! For me to use it, I now have to zoom right in and there is just a fine-line of space for me to be able to click it which is very tricky. On occasion the button has actually dissappeared completely and I have to recover earlier saved versions of the s/sheet.

I've no idea how to increase the size of the Command button again. I've googled it and a few suggestions said to right click on it etc, but no options appear when I right click it.

Could anybody help with this please ?

If it helps, I've posted the Command info:

    Administrative Note:

We would very much like to help you with your query, however you need to include code tags around your code.

Please take a moment to add the tags. Posting code between tags makes your code much easier to read and copy for testing, and it also maintains VBA formatting.

Please see Forum Rule #2 about code tags and adjust accordingly. Click on Edit to open your post, then highlight your code and click the # icon at the top of your post window. More information about these and other tags can be found here

(Note: this change is not optional. No help to be offered until this moderation request has been fulfilled.)

That makes sense - apologies I'm not a regular user of the forum and hadn't realised.

    I've just revised that now.

    Cheers

Thanks - I've moved them for you, as you had missed the top and bottom lines of code.

In the Developer tab, click 'Design Mode'. then click on your CommandButton1. You should get small circles in each corner/side. Use them to re-size the button.

Then 'right-click' on the button and select 'Format Control'.
Under the 'Size' tab, enter the size you want for the button. Tick 'Lock aspect ratio'
Under the 'Properties' tab, make sure option 2 or 3 is selected; Don't size with cells.

Turn 'Design Mode' off (click again so it is no longer highlighted).

    Hope this helps.
