Fetching ZIP/Postal code data from street address

Hi!

I have some experience with simpler VBA scripts, but facing a situation where I need to fetch data from web for the first time. I have a table with street addresses and can build Google Maps browser links with HYPERLINK formula that usually give correct response (so, the data quality is decent). However I'm missing and need to fetch ZIP code data (or Postal code, as we call it in Europe). I see the correct Postal code in Google Maps browser page, but I'm looking for a better and more seamless solution than clicking them open manually and then adding to the table.

Several demos to be found over the web on how to use Google Maps API in Excel to calculate distance between two locations defined in Excel cells. Or how to calculate geocodes (long/lat) from addresses. I feel I'm looking for something that's even simpler than that. Do you guys have some suggestions on how I'd need to proceed on solving this? At the same time I hope not to overcomplicate things.

Ideal scenario would be to solve Postal codes for a whole range of addresses, but push a button and a single Postal code is resolved would already be helpful.

Hi Rick! Unfortunately it doesn't look to help in my scenario since I'm not located in US. I suppose I still need to somehow integrate a dynamic map service here (to the likes of Google Maps).
