hello please!
Suggest you explain in plain language what you want. It may be clear to you, but I cannot see inside your head and have no idea what it is you wish to happen. Step by step as if you were to do this manually. Are you counting these? Wish to know where? Cell address? How and where to report? Give us a clue!

ok alan, thanks for viewing the post,
let's go step by step, the macro, will mark in a color or another character, only where there is a cell range from one number to another
* example that you can't = 01 04 = note that here there are two spaces or two cells, the macro here doesn't register, another example 14 16 here has an interval or an interval cell, this yes the macro does, all two numbers where act a range cell the macro does =
* goal = is to see the range of a cell from one number to another, when it has more than two cells the macro does nothing
hello, alan, so the macro will only register a color number sequences where there is only one cell range
hello ALAN, please!
Don't understand jorel...update a sample file with more expected results...
Good Luck
I don't presume to know what I am doing, however, just like you, I too started somewhere...

hello sintek, thanks for viewing the post, very first the macro detects, in the two lists the corresponding numbers, then the macro highlights in a color or another character, only intervals of a cell between two numbers, where there are intervals 2,3,4 no does
https://www.excelforum.com/attachmen...1&d=1591448796
This I understand...very first the macro detects, in the two lists the corresponding numbers
This I don't understand...explain why red blocks and why blue blocks...Then the macro highlights in a color or another character, only intervals of a cell between two numbers
This works but blank cells formula fill takes forever...or another character, only intervals of a cell between two numbers
Populating value into array for formula fill takes even longer...

hello, oh ok sorry, blue is the same pattern as red, I forgot to do it on the other list but where there's blue is red, it's the same pattern, it's all the same
ok where there is the (?) point there you have to go the color can be red or blue, you can do it even below, where will the (?) points be highlighted in a color
Thought you saidhighlights in a color or another character

hello SINTEK BAH! , how wonderful, work of art, expended master's work, congratulations, thank you
Glad I could help...Tx for rep +
hello SINTEK I reopened, to see if you can add in each the number of times the red pattern happened, ex = 5.6 or 4.6 ....
is to add in each row the number of times that the red pattern happened
objective is to assemble the suit = ex = 5.6 6.6 ....
Not understood...need to clarify with sample file showing result expected...
? x x ? x x x ? x x x ? x x x x ? x x ? x 6 x ? x x ? x x x ? x x x x x x ? x x x ? 5
is to add the quantity of each line
example = 1st line had 6 red patterns the 2nd line had 5 red patterns, this gave a suit
6.5, if you can compile statistics on the number of times you were drawn

but the 1st list is not adding up. the 2nd list is correct, you have to do it on the 1st list too to set up the suit
Come on...You should have figured out small mistake in formula length of range...
