    Selecting items from a drop down list by typing the first letter or two, without scrolling

    Right now I can only select a item from the list by scrolling the whole list and selecting the item.

    If it is on a UserForm use a combo like the attached demo.

    This was exactly what I was looking for but I do not see how to create it in my spreadsheet?

    see the big yellow banner at the head of the page - how to upload your workbook.
    it is far easier to advise when looking at the actual app. - remove sensitive data and leave a couple of dozen rows of the type of data you want to include.
