    Used extensively on this userform.
The code may be a useful guide.

thanks torachan for your kind reply......

your post shows how helpful you are to others.....much appreciated...

    i went through the post....

but myself being a novice.... am unable to make out much from your post....

i have attached a file with the user form

please see if you can help me

what i was able to make happen is select either today's date or select a date range....
on clicking textboxes or optionbutton2, calendarform shows and we can select two dates....

i want to make a code ....so that the date in textbox1 is never a future date
and date in textbox2 is never a date which is behind the date in textbox1

for example... if user selects 10/06/20 in textbox1, then he should not be able to select a date before 10/06/20 for textbox2

Give the attached file a try.
The basic calendar was distorted when opened on my computer so I have used the advanced calendar choice.
The initial calendar is on a double_click and the check is done on the change event.
