Enable macro on excel spreadsheet

Hi Folks,

I have seen previous posts to remedy the problem of the "macro not available in this workbook, or macro's not enabled"

However despite making the required corrections in the trusted sections, the problem still remains.

You would have to supply some more information

You could press Alt-F11 to open the VBA Editor. See if the macro is present there.

And you could try, in the Immediate Window, typing MsgBox "test" and pressing Enter to see if macros are enabled.

Thanks for the reply.

If I select Alt+F11 a pop up screen appears, and the two modules, containing the macros, are present.

I have run the macros individually and they do what is expected of them.

However when trying to get the "OnAction" function of the icon to open the macro, I get the error, macro not enabled or not available in this workbook.

I have gone through the options presented in the Trust Center Setting, to no avail.

I have typed the MsgBox 'test", and used the run opiton - both macros appear as being on th eVBA Project

Looking at your cross post, looks like your macro is called macro_1 and you are calling macro1.
