Search and Input data from a different file

Hello,

This is my first post and thank you for reading!

I maintain a file that has workers hours charged. I updated this monthly and I get the data from another excel file I download. I would like to automate the data entry part. I would like to search my main file for the worker and then input the amount of hours charged. All this data comes from another spreadsheet. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
