Filter cell string with wildcard array entries

    Hi All
I have probably gone about this the wrong way so any suggestions welcome. In a "To Do List" workbook favoured by employer Col F contains a string of the initials of the person(s) responsible for an action, there is no set format and initials could appear in any order. It would be helpful if these entries could be filtered. I have created a userform to create a string variant "Schstr" by assembling selected checkboxes.

Can the string entries in columnF be wildcard matched with the created search string??

    Your thoughts appreciated

In this sort of operation. I'd recommend use of Advanced Filter (in place).

However, I'm bit unclear as to what should happen when multiple check boxes are marked.

Is it to show any that contain one or more of checked items? Or only items that match all checked.

    Hi Ck
the search would really have to be for any or all of the selected items - as you say one or more of the checked items

Something like below without changing your array construction too much.

You'll need "Criteria" sheet added (blank). You can hide this sheet if so desired.

See attached sample. I use modeless userform, for double checking result. You can change it back to modal.
