I have experienced something strange with two of my workbooks which contains a lot of macros.

Workbook 1:
When pressing Save, I get the following response:
Errors were detected while saving ‘C:\users……\xxx.xlsm. MS Excel may be able to save the file by removing or repairing some features. To make the repairs in a new file, click Continue.

When I do so and choose to overwrite the existing file, I get the following response:
Excel encountered errors during save. However, Excel was able to minimally save …. etc.
When click OK I get a new message box which tells: ‘Damage to the file was so extensive that repair was not possible’. (And some more text).

So there is not possible to save the file, not even as a macro-free file.
And when I choose to save without update, it is not possible to close the file, and I have to close the application and open it again.

It is not possible to open the VBA modules to see the coding.

And the last strange thing is that when I register numbers in a cell and press tab to go to the next cell, I have to press tap twice to move to the next cell.

Workbook 2:
When opening the file, I get the following message:
Can’t find projects or library.
It is not possible to open the VBA modules to see the coding.

Best regards Saturn
