    Excel Sheet to Populate Word Doc Without mail merge won't work

    Hello,

    I have altered this code from a YouTube video that is meant to populate a word document from an excel data sheet to fit my document. What it is doing is just opening up word and closing it and saving the pdf with the correct name but it isn't populating it or letting me view it in word. I don't know why it is doing this as I am a beginner and have been given a task way out of my expertise but will not back down. It could be because the document uses textboxes rather than normal text? But that brings up another issue if that the case. The word template and excel sheet will be attached.

    Please help! Thankyou.

    UPDATE: I have concluded it is because of the use of text boxes in word that it did not get replaced by the variables. It works for the word doc attached. But how can I change the code so that Word stays open so they can check if the document is correct?
