backup and restore excel macros issue!

ok, I went to "XLSTART" and saved a copy of "PERSONAL.XLSB", then I reset my laptop to factory settings for some reason!

Now when I put back my backup ("PERSONAL.XLSB") which contains all of my VBA macros!
and lunch excel, it says file corrupted!
any help I'll be appreciated

excel alert:
"Excel cannot open the file 'PERSONAL.XLSB' because the file format or file extension is not valid, verify that the file has not been corrupted and that the file extension matches the format of the file."

I tried to record a simple macro and its working and then replaced the file with the old one and i got the same error msg from excel!

Can you attach the file here, if there is nothing private in it? I have not tried a recovery of a corrupted xlsb file but we might be able to help.

I wish I could, but I have a lot of sensitive information there
