Disable Delete/Edit Threaded Comments

Hi All,

I have a series of change event macros that result in threaded comments (and threaded comment replies) being added to cells.
I would like to prevent any manual amendments to these (either deleting or editing).

Is there a way to do so via VBA?

Searching online, I have come across variations of:

Please Login or Register  to view this content.

...but I'm unsure if they apply to Threaded Comments, plus I can't get it to work with old-fashioned notes in place either!.

Please could someone provide an example Workbook_Open routine that would prevent any manual threaded comments amendments/edit in the workbook?

If the only way to achieve this also prevents any threaded comments being added (including via VBA), I can add an "undo" routine in the change events to temporarily allow it to automatically add new/amend comments, and then reinstate the block, so this would not be a problem.
