Hi,
I have a file 1.xls & I want to copy all data from sheet1 and paste it to sheet 3
macro will be placed in macro.xlsm so the file path should be hardcoded in the macro

It is not a good practice to name workbooks or sheets as single digit numbers only. It leads to confusion with index numbers which are automatically assigned by the Excel application.
Any code provided by me should be tested on a copy or a mock up of your original data before applying it to the original. Some events in VBA cannot be reversed with the undo facility in Excel.
