    Daily Run

Is it possible to have a code run automatically at 9am on weekdays?

    Re: Daily Run

    Yes.

But for that you need to use either Task Scheduler or a third-party program.
You would set running times in Task Scheduler/third-party, not in the vba code.
Plus you would need to create a VBS file to run the code, and a .BAT file to run the excel file through the VBS file.
At least this is how I do it for a couple of years now.

    Sounds complicated but it's not.

I have codes running every morning sending me various email alerts.
I used Task Scheduler but had some issues with it and then switched to a free third party program called "Schedule Manager".

    Good morning tome10

Try reading up on using the OnTime VBA command, or the Windows Timer here.

    Re: Daily Run

i really don't understand, 'Daily Run' in VBA Forum seems spot on in conveying that I would like to know if at all possible or how to go about creating a program that runs daily. I'm such a novice, I'll probably need help with coming up with a proper title if the one supplied is not correct. Furthermore, I thought the 'Title' was a short, sweet, and to the objective of the post, and the body of the post was to further elaborate on what I wish to do. But, I was educated in publik education in Arkansas, it just has to be known to forgive my trespasses for I know no better. ;-)

Mrrrr, I watched a video on your method, and goodness that looks complicated. but do-able.

    Dominic, I'll look into on-time.

AliGW, I have no idea how to rephrase the title. VBA to run code daily? Scheduling VBA Code to run at set time?
