extracting a specific part of a cell

Hello,

I have a vba that generates a particular time/date, in a particular cell, and in a particular worksheet.
I would like to extract this value of the cell but only the date part. Please see the attachment file. Thank you for your help in advance. I'm able to get the whole value by using this snipet

this way I get the entire value. but I just want a part of the value. the date/time is in format DD-MM-YYY HH:MM and I just want the date DD-MM-YYY.
