VBA code for changing a value and generating new PPT slide

Hi everyone,

Hope this finds you well!

Hoping I would get help for this question - The excel file attached is the back-end chart of one of my PowerPoint slides.

Information about the attached:
1. Columns A to H contains the data
2. Cell "K1" is a drop-down which contains the data of "Column A" as options

I was able to figure out the following:
1. Open the PowerPoint presentation
2. Open the back-end of the chart
3. Navigate to cell "K1" of the back-end

Solution I'm looking for: It would be of great help if some one could help me with a VBA code which could:
1. Change the value in cell "K1" to the very next value present in drop-down i.e. next row of "Column A"
2. Save the chart in a new PowerPoint deck
3. Repeat the same for 48 times to cover all the values present in "Column A"

Thanks a lot in advance!

Re: Require help with VBA

I know it sounds really pedantic but it's for a good reason. Could you change the title of the thread to match your query? Things like "help with VBA" will never help anyone else searching at a later date and they're often less likely to get answered.

Administrative Note:

Welcome to the forum.

We would very much like to help you with your query, however the thread title does not really convey what your request is about. Tell us what you are trying to do, not how you think it should be done.

Please take a moment to amend your thread title. Make sure that the title properly explains your request. Your title should be explicit and not be generic (this includes function names used without an indication of what you are trying to achieve).

Please see Forum Rule #1 about proper thread titles and adjust accordingly. To edit the thread title, open the original post to edit and then click on Go Advanced (bottom right) to access the area where you can edit your title.

(Note: this change is not optional. No help to be offered until this moderation request has been fulfilled.)
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you
