reports value between 2 columns

this macro should report the value column H in column L but it doesn't work
it only works in the cell H9/L9

Your variab is a one dimensional array of 48 values

If you want to end up with something in L9 then you need to indicate which of the 48 index numbers you want to use.

Perhaps it would help if you told us what you are trying to do. And by that I don't mean tell us what how you are currently trying to achieve your goal I mean tell us what the end goal should be, and how its value should be calculated.

it works fine, but it is inside a macro with many functions and this slows down the other macros
is it possible to change it to speed up?
