Printing Multiple Tabs at same time

    Hello all

I recently raised an incident which is now solved

    HTML Code:
Using the attached Workbook, I am now able to sort the names in all the Teams Tabs into Alpha order.

On the same subject of multiple Tabs, how do I print all 109 Teams Tabs - exclude Tabs Readme, Sheet5 and Sheet6

When I Group all Teams Tabs, I cannot set the Page Layout Print area as its greyed out.
Suggested solution would be appreciated please.

    Hi again,

It was interesting to see that you posted my workbook with the "jumbled up" worksheets

See if the following code does what you need:

Re: Printing Multiple Tabs at same time

We are making headway thank you Greg M.
    Ver 3 WorkBook attached
Have re-arranged the Tabs to the correct order.
Have an issue with the printing whether I print to hard copy of PDF.
Each Tab requires same format of -
    A4 Landscape,’ Page Margins (as per custom setting on each Tab in this WB);
Print Range A4 ; M24 – this is final area intended to be used
Currently have set my printer to PDF print as default
When Print Tab Macro is selected, one page prints at a time, then stops waiting for another command to print the next page and so on.
How so I set so all pages (excluding ReadMe, Team5 & Team 6 Tabs print one after the other on separate A4 pages (hard copy or PDF)?

    Hi again,

    Thanks for your feedback.

Have an issue with the printing whether I print to hard copy of PDF

Ah! This is the first time that printing to PDF was mentioned!

Fundamental question - are we talking about one PDF file with one page per team, or one (single-page) PDF file per team?

    Regards,

    Greg M

Re: Printing Multiple Tabs at same time

    Hi again Greg M.

Printing to PDF is an after thought

Printing to PDF will enable me to select pages to hardcopy as required - save some trees.

In all cases, the pdf file would be 109 Tabs Teams list - each Tab on separate A4 Landscape page. would be one pdf of 109 pages,

    Hope that explains better.

I use PDF creator 3.2 mostly because I can reduce file sizes through resolution adjustment (150 dpi) where as Microsoft PDF does not seem to allow below 300 dpi.
    Saves some Toner as well.

Re: Printing Multiple Tabs at same time

    Hi again,

Many thanks for your very prompt response to my last post.

Take a look at the attached workbook and see if it does what you need. The workbook provides the facilities to sort team member names (as per your previous thread), print a hardcopy listing of all team details, and generate a PDF file containing one page per team. It uses the following code:

Please Login or Register to view this content.
The highlighted values may be altered to suit your requirements.

    As far as:

Each Tab requires same format of -
    A4 Landscape, Page Margins (as per custom setting on each Tab in this WB);
Print Range A4 : M24 - this is final area intended to be used

is concerned, you can set all of these parameters on the template worksheet which you're using for each team. One piece of advice which (based on sad experience!) I can offer, is to make sure that your template worksheet is fully and correctly configured BEFORE you start making copies of it and entering team details, otherwise you'll end up having to perform "tweaks" on each of 109 separate worksheets afterwards!

Hope this helps - as before, please let me know how you get on.

    Regards,

    Greg M

Fantastic solution thank you Greg M. Worked great for the most recent event.
Understand your recommendation preparing sheets formats first.
