    Fields mandatory

    Hello Community,

I am creating an excel sheet where if the user has filled a cell in column A, he has to fill input also on column B, C and D, otherwise, he shouldn't be able to save and close the file.

Does someone have an idea on how could be this enabled?

    Thank you in advance,
    Alina

Place these macros in the code module for ThisWorkbook. Do the following: Hold down the ALT key and press the F11 key. This will open the Visual Basic Editor. In the left hand pane, double click on "ThisWorkbook". Copy/paste theses macros into the empty window that opens up. Change the sheet name (in red) to suit your needs. Close the window to return to your sheet.

You can say "THANK YOU" for help received by clicking the Star symbol at the bottom left of the helper's post.
Practice makes perfect. I'm very far from perfect so I'm still practising.
