Tracing actual resultant cell in sumif and sumifs

    Dear Experts,

I have excel file with multiple worksheet and have Sumif and Sumifs formulas therein. To review the sheet I need to trace the actual values (not range) referred to by those formulas. Is it possible with some VBA code / addin or any other trick ? I use office 365.

    Thanks in advance

    Regards,

    1. Please read the yellow banner and post a sample sheet.

    2. Please amend your profile to show your current Excel version.

What do you mean by "trace"? What do you want your result to look like?

What you are asking is basically to VBA to write the the same logic that Excel uses to execute SUMIF and SUMIFS. That is quite a lot of work. If you are using very simple versions of these functions and you aren't changing the formulas it might be possible. Can you give some examples of the formulas in your worksheets? It would be even better to attach your file.

You might just try Formulas, Formula Auditing, Evaluate Formula which does this, but you have to do it manually for each formula.
