Uncheck a checked checkbox if condition met

Hi All
In this code, if the cell to the left of a checkbox is blank I would like to leave the Sub routine and set the checkbox status as "value = xlOff". This doesn't do it and I have tried several other ways

The format control was what I was looking for so no linked cell. I'm this far but would like if checkbox uncklicked it would remove date and signature as now it copies a second signature
