    Excel formula Detector

Suppose that we have a long equation with lots of brackets and nested divisions. So we should write an expanded code form of that algebraic expression in order to use it in excel.
Is there any tool or website to show the algebraic form of an excel code to check the probable errors and prevent the human mistakes.

Hi, as far as I know is that if you're using complicated formulas with IF and OR statements or more and you want the user to enter data themselves, the I suggest you create a userform with all the fields that require data and carry out all the verifications in the VBA code before populating the formula.

I think if we had such tool it would be very helpful for complicated algebraic expressions just with mathematical operator precedence. The other excel functions like IF, OR, VLOOKUP and . . . can be ignored simply.

    Re: Excel formula Detector

In other spreadsheets (the old Quattro Pro and LO Calc), I have seen attempts at a "formula building" utility. Other than the function wizard (has it seen any updates in newer versions?), I have not seen any good attempts at a formula builder for Excel. I'm not certain why no one has tried to make a good formula builder for a spreadsheet. I'm guessing it is deceptively difficult to program something flexible enough to be useful for a wide range of formula styles but still be truly helpful.

FWIW, I find myself avoiding big, complex, single cell formulas. I prefer to spread something like that out over several cells. Then, if I decide to combine them, I can use the formula text in each cell as I build the larger formula in a single cell.

I agree with @MrShorty when it comes to complex formulas with different functions; I use a different cell for each function. The main formula then refers to these cells, you can hide these cells for the user
