Good Afternoon,
I have just started running an online Photography Club for my village.
I am running a monthly competition.
I am looking to design a scoresheet in Excel format and need to verify the data input fits certain criteria when the submit button in pressed.
There are potentially 4 groups, into which the photographers are placed.
They are asked to score ALL the other images in their OWN group, but not their own image and not images in other groups.
I have designed a table which I consider suitable, but need assistance with the coding to check the form.
SO - basically the photographers tick their own image in the first column, decide which of the images they want to be top and award 12 points, 11 points for the next best image and 10 points for the third image.
All the remaining images in that group can receive anything from 9 points (maximum) to 5 points (the minimum).
Members can score only 1 image as 12 points, 1 as 11 points, 1 as 10 points and the remaining images can be anything from 9 down to 5 points.
They may score two or more images with any of these values.`
This means they can only tick one box in the first column, one tick on the second column, one tick in the third column and one tick in the fourth column.
BUT, there can be any number of ticks in the final 5 columns.
There can only be a MAXIMUM of one tick per row because it is either their own image or they are awarding a score of 12, 11, 10 or between 5 and 9 points.
There cannot be ticks in more than one table.
I think that ALL four tables could be covered by the same rules as ONE large table.
I will also be looking to transfer the data to a second spreadsheet page which will contain details of the Name of Photographer, the month, name of their image and scores awarded.
BUT not to worry about that at this stage.
Thanks in anticipation for any assistance anyone can offer.
Keith
