    Question Opening Excel Workbooks via a Macro takes really long

    Hello everyone. I am trying to create a macro which opens several workbooks and copies a single worksheet out of them into my main workbook.

    I already have working code for that task, however my macro is really slow when opening other excel files from my computer.

    Here is my code:

    Like I said: Workbooks.Open(...) takes really long (several minutes) and I don't know how to combat this.

    Let me correct: Opening everything works in a few seconds, however copying takes ages. Sorry for the wrong information.

    So...what is it you are copying...Why not upload a sample file of 1 or 2 of theses workbooks and explain in detail what you are trying to achieve...perhaps an alternate solution can be offered...See Top yellow Banner
