    Filtering by some specific value

    Hello Community,

In a particular delivery management excel sheet I need to assign a macro to a button that will filter the data, excluding old data.

In the current month of December, the team is adding data for November, but I don't want they to be allowed to see the data for Oct, Sept, Aug, etc.

For this, I need to action a button that will hide the data for older than November, and the person who will manage the file would have to insert a password for both hiding and unhiding.

Can someone help me with this pleaseeeee?
    Thank you!

Why not have a separate visible sheet for the current month and a hidden sheet for all the data.
Then the macro just needs to copy the current month to the hidden sheet.

The hidden sheet can be set to 'Very Hidden' in VBA so that the Format Unhide Worksheet would not list the particular sheet.
    .
Another macro that prompts for a password could be used to unhide the sheet.

    Hi Richard,

Thanks a lot for your response. Your suggestion good but after checking I have some constraints as someone would have to delete the data from the source sheet so the best option is to use that hide/unhide button.

    Thank you!
