I want to import data from MS Access into Power Query using the original SQL from Access. But I get errors on the IFFS and other parts. Is there a way to use the native Access SQL in Powerquery?
Also is there a way to run a macro in Access before going to the query? The last part isn't extremely important I can do that with a macro in Excel .
On the Data Tab, bring the Table or Query you have developed in MS Access into PQ. Click on Get Data and select MS Access as the source. I suspect that you have built your query in VBA and not in the UI. Building it in the User Interface allows you to bring it into PQ with little effort. Otherwise, you may have to use Query Folding. I have never used that. Google Query Folding in Power Query and it should offer some guidance.
