Does changing the formatting within a pivot table trigger the PivotTableChangeSync event?

    Hi everyone,

I would like to know exactly what changes to a pivot table trigger the PivotTableChangeSync event? I've been testing some formatting changes for a section of a worksheet that includes a pivot table (along with cells that are not in the pivot table). I was testing the code in a separate sub until I got everything the way I wanted it. Then, I called the sub from the worksheet's PivotTableChangeSync and it got stuck in an endless loop, which makes me think that just some formatting changes on cells that contain a pivot table activates the changeSync. However, after googling, I cannot find EXACTLY what triggers the ChangeSync. I wouldn't have expected formatting changes to trigger it. Thanks!

can you share the code or better still the workbook, formatting does not change it as far as I can see.

It would be easy enough to test by writing some code on another worksheet that is started by it and seeing if it was effected. When are you refreshing? or Calculating?

Oh goodness! I can't believe I didn't think about trying it with a test pivot table. I am going to blame it being super late at night and my brain was tired. I tried it, and it didn't trigger that pivot table's change sync, so the endless loop must be caused by something else. Thanks!
