Issue with date not being recognised as a date by excel

    Hi all,

On the attached workbook, there are 2 sheets:

    - Sheet 1 - Column B shows the date correctly, which is recognised as a date by excel.

    - Sheet 2 - Column B shows the same as sheet1, but it is not recognised as a date by excel.

I attempted to change the data in column B sheet 2 to a date, by chaging the number type from text to date and replaced the . with / - however this did not work correctly and created numerous issues - such as showing the date the opposite way, i.e. 06/01/20 was shown as 1st June, whereas in the UK that is the 6th January.

Can someone assist me with a way to get the date as shown in Sheet2 ColumnB to be recognised as a date throughout?

    Kind Regards,

    Chris
