How to find a date in next sheet and mark it as "PL"

Hi all,

I have attached sample workbook.

There is "From Date and To Date , with Emp Id"

How to find the empid in next sheet....... and mark "PL" for the Dates mentioned in From to To Dates.

For example,
Emp ID : R23465
From Date : 2nd Feb 2021
To Date : 4th Feb 2021

next sheet has a list

i want to mark "PL" for dates, 2nd, 3rd and 4th for the given employee.

Attached workbook, and i marked them as "PL"....just for anyone could see.

any simple solution in VBA

Firstly...rule No 1 in excel...avoid merged cells...
Changed dates to actual date format and this works...
