Apply Conditional Formatting if a column Name is matching

    Friends,

I have a data sheet from Column B to AZ.

In general, the row no.4 is "Column headers".

So, if there is a column name "Ref No", in which a value found like "MAS", then apply the conditional format of making that cell(s) Yellow.

In simple terms, the cells that contains "MAS" under the column name "Ref No", must be CONDITIONALLY FORMATTED.

    Please help me.
Good friends are hard to find, harder to leave, and impossible to forget.

    acsishere.

    How about
    =AND(B$4="Ref No",B5="Mas")

Re: Apply Conditional Formatting if a column Name is matching

    May be.

But, my data is Pivot table. The columns may change based on data requirement. But the column name remains "Ref No".

That's the reason, I sought a VBA may resolve the issue.

    That is:

Currently, Columns E and AB are having the column Header "Ref No".

After few days, Columns G and AF may have the Header "Ref No".

So, the Macro will search for Column Header "Ref No", and then apply conditional format in that column based on the text "MAS".

It would have helped if you said that originally.
As I know nothing about pivots, I cannot help.
