    Office Scripts

Having taught myself VBA (with the help of members here) over recent months, I have recently joined a new team at work who are making much more use of the online Sharepoint environment, and I am quickly realising that maybe my new found VBA skills are redundant in this online world.

Is that correct that VBA macros will not work in online Excel?

Can anyone point me in the direction of good resources to learn Scripts (which I understand to be the alternative to VBA), I really have no idea about this at the moment, for example if I were to search for the resources am I searching for 'MS Scripts', or is the programming language called something else?

The types of things I would like to be able to do (that I previously learnt in VBA) are mostly related to table manipulation i.e. Autofilter, add/delete/edit table rows etc.).

    Any related comments/wisdom gratefully received.

    Re: Office Scripts

Here is another link into MS's documentation on officescripts.
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-gb/office/dev/scripts/

Note that it depends what you want to do with the scripts. They are new and some functionality may not be available yet.
Also if you are working with other documents and applications you may have to resort to VBA and COM.
    Cheers
