    Extract COS ITEMs only

I have a sheet named "Imported Data"

I have set up a sheet "COS" to extract "COS" items only on this sheet which appear in Col K' on sheet "Imported Data" under the heading narrative

I have tried using Advanced Filter to do this but it also extracts Cost which I do not want

I have highlighted the items in Yellow that I want extracted on sheet "COS"

It would be appreciated if someone could kindly assist me

    Re: Extract COS ITEMs only

    Hi Alan

Thanks for the help. The sample data only contained two categories in Col K containing OS but my actual data could have many categories that has "COS" in Col K

I think that VBA will be the best solution to extract only the items where there is test "COS" in the narrative in Col K

List all the categories in Col.Q that you want to filter like attached.
