Good evening! Looking for some help.. I am working on a workbook for payroll.. the workbook is set up as follows:
Sheet 1 "TimeCard" : This worksheet has a data range set up for clock in/ clock outs for each day of the work week. The range of data needed is D9:I15 I have a combobox (started with a data validation drop down list... not sure which will be better yet) that lists each employee who will be clocking in and out. There are two buttons at the bottom, "Accept" and "Reset"
Sheet 2- Sheet 19 "Name" : Each worksheet following "TimeCard" is named for an employee that can be selected from the combobox or data validation list.
Last sheet "Employees" : Simple one column data range named "EmpNames" so that the combobox or data validation set can be easily updated
****Objective****
Input clock times into the master data table-- Worksheet "TimeCard"/ Range (D9:I15)
Select a name from the combobox or data validation list
Click "Accept" -- pop up message box "Submit time card for ___employe name__?"
YES: Data range is pasted to the worksheet selected from the combobox or data validation list
Message "Timecard for ____employee name___" submitted!" Then the data range should reset and clear out for the next employee's input
NO: Close the pop up message box, leave everything as it is
Click "Reset" -- pop up message box "Clear and reset time card data?"
YES: Data range clears
NO: Close the pop up message box
